Location: ipaq hx2750 | Montreal Canada | it seems as though no one myself included is making use of jira.... here is what i suggest...
Da1, gsc and myself are usually trolling the forums helping ppl out. Perhaps we should be adding problems to jira ( if we can't solve the issue)... for everyone else
this will keep tracking major problems easier especially when more developers ( such as myself :P ) start dev work.
i would update jira every couple of days... it can't be that much work... iv used systems like this before and i know they are a boon for development.

Time consuming... probably, but we did take up the roles of being Morphgear's Project Administrators and Forum Moderators ;)! I may start tonight...

| Jira is actually an issue management system, Confluence is a wiki. But yes, entering any MorphGear and open source module issues into Jira will be extremely helpful since it helps me to manage and organize the whole development process -- resource assignment, planning, future versions, notifications, updates, etc. The catch is, Atlassian has granted us a license to use Jira and Confluence for Open Source projects only. Marat's modules don't qualify, so I can't use the issue tracker for those (which is why you'll notice they're absent from Jira). For his, you'll need to continue to use the module specific forums. |
