| i would like to be able to map network drives on my ppc, running ppc 2003-
as to stream media from my home computer through betaplayer or whatever.
can anyone suggest good util for this? i currently use VM Net Browser, but some functions don't work (like map net drive) however, i can surf to what i want, i just can't surf in betaplayer, as to create a playlist. |

| Why not just access the shares using UNC paths? i.e. \\COMPUTER\SHARE
Very rarely do I find it useful to assign a drive letter these days. But if the UI isn't allowing it, perhaps you could create your playlist from your PC using those paths and then just transfer the playlist over to the PPC via a synchronized file. Load the playlist and it may navigate the embedded UNC paths. |

| resco explorer will allow you to map a network folder so it appears like just another storage card to the device. |
