Thankfully the tasty A636/2 has 9 buttons at its disposal so you only have to rely on the stylus controller minimally, the buttons are also in a very comfortable position too ^.~ ...

I use ver 2.1.0.0 of MG and it all plays fine, it needs some minor adjustments but they're quite easy to do. I've heard that the later MG ver's don't work with the Asus, but I haven't tested this myself because I'm really not going to pay $24 for a snes emu when I've got it working already just to see if there's a problem or not. [Edit] I've only used the snes emu with this, so please keep that in mind =o

Cons;

If you play it in portrait mode at 100% screen size, it cuts off on both sides under half a cm or so, you can set it to 'fit screen' but it reduces the quality. playing it in landscape mode while allowing to see the complete screen it makes it a bitch to play due the the button position of the A63X and also cuts your ability to use the stylus controller. While it does cut of some of the screen, it really isn't much and makes play oh-so much fun in portrait so I'd stick with that.

You have to set the frame skip to 6 (for the snes) to get it to play at normal speed and it seems to lose a bit of quality, but nothing too bad, just misses a bit with fast animations.

Pros;

The nine button layout with the Asus is very good for playing snes games and you really only need to use the stylus pad for start/select and L/R. I'll provide a pic of the pda~

The sound using the A63X's single tiny speaker actually isn't that bad, but if you plug in a good pair of headphones you really get a great sound, just slightly less than the sound you would get from playing the game on a pc emu or even on the snes itself. I have the settings like so and find them to get the best results; Enable Sound, Emulate, Interpolate, 16-bit samples, Stereo and high qual (44khz).

I've only experienced very minor lagging so far with one game and the graphics when played at 100% size are quite good.

About the Asus A63X not concerning MG;

I absolutely love it, I only bought it because of the GPS as I'm always getting lost while driving and can't read maps >_<, I didn't think I would be using the pc function of it much but it really is great and I've found no major bugs with it. I actually use it more than my laptop now, especially when I found this snes emulator because most pocketpc games aren't that great... Nothing beats playing Crono or FFVI when your between classes. =^_^=

There are plenty of other in depth reviews on this pda so I'm not going to say anymore than that I love it and have had no real problems (excluding the one time I dropped it in the toilet ;-;).
